4: Stars In Fast Cars
The Top Gear special feature for Sports Relief, first broadcast on 10 July 2004 Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson went bumper to bumper with Jodie Kidd, Alan Davies, Patrick Kielty, Darren Jordan and Jimmy Carr in a series of tyre-screechingly fast paced challenges designed to test their pedal power to the max. Among the highlights were a classic car race around the circuit, car-skittles and a double-decker banger challenge. Richard Hammond and James May presided over the action and offered their usual critique on contestants' skill levels.

133: Clarkson: Hot Metal
This video, contrary to its predecessor, somewhat returned to its older format of driving supercars around an airfield alongside destroying a car that Clarkson disliked. With regards to the latter, three cars were the recipient of Clarkson's punishment, each used as a target for "clay" shooting; an Austin Metro was shot at with a shotgun, a Nissan Bluebird was shot at with a machine gun, and a Ford Scorpio was blown up with an RPG. Elsewhere the main theme of this video is comparing older sports cars with their modern-day contemporaries, weighing up which of the two is better.

134: Clarkson: Heaven and Hell
This release changed the previously established format somewhat, as the film was centred around 7 "winners" and 7 "sinners" of the car world, playing into the release's title. Though the former was much the same, with Clarkson driving various great sports and supercars around the airfield, the cars which were destroyed were done so in a far more creative and elaborate manner. Notable destructions included another Austin Metro being driven around a car park by stunt driver Russ Swift, picking the car apart using the walls of the building, a jousting match between a Triumph TR7 and a Ford Scorpio, and a Perodua Kelisa which was smashed in front of the very dealership Clarkson purchased it from.

135: Clarkson: Good the Bad and the Ugly
This release is much of the same content Clarkson was known for, except for the first time since Apocalypse Clarkson it does not take place at an airfield, Dunsfold or otherwise, instead taking place in the arid deserts of America, where he embarks on a quest to find a "decent" car made by the country. He tests many sports, muscle and supercars before turning his ire towards some cars he hates, including a Toyota Prius which is shot at by an angry redneck and a pair of Buick Park Avenues which are torn apart by two teams; one representing the UK and the other representing the USA.

19: Best of Series 3 - 8
In this special compilation Clarkson sees how tough "that" Toyota Hilux pick-up truck truly is by putting it through a series of tests, including driving it through Bristol and nearly losing it to the sea, before returning to the test track to see what else it can withstand. Hammond finds out if he can get the same thrill and excitement he got from participating in the Pamplona Bull Run in Spain, in the Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster. Clarkson also tries to see if he can beat a human skater in the "Speed Skating" event, in a Jaguar XKR. The trio take a look at what it's like to drive vans, as they take a Renault Master, a Ford Transit and a Volkswagen T30 TDI 174 Sportline, and become roadies for The Who. Clarkson claims he's found a good way to give up smoking with the new £415,000 Koenigsegg CCX. Hammond competes against May in a game of "Car Ice Hockey" with several Suzuki Swifts. Finally May sees what else can be done to prove that a Toyota Hilux is tough by placing the same Hilux on top of a tower block due for demolition.

It's a journey across sea ice and unforgiving mountainous terrain where temperatures can drop to minus 65ºC - a temperature at which exposed skin can freeze in less than 30 seconds. Only fools would attempt such a journey. So Jeremy and James are attempting to do it in the now legendary Toyota Hilux and Richard hopes to make it on a sled pulled by ten Canadian Inuit dogs. Watch the complaints from environmentalists roll in.

28: Top Ground Gear Force
The Top Gear team of James May, Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond swap the steering wheel for the shovel as they embark on a Ground Force style makeover challenge as part of Sport Relief. The Top Gear team of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond decide, for Sport Relief to resurrect the show Ground Force, and provide a garden makeover to the garden of one of Britain's 'sporting legends', namely Sir Stephen Redgrave. Helping them are a team of Poles. As the team's only 'country bumpkin' Hammond is the team leader. However, his garden plan fails to impress Clarkson and May, who want to include a water feature and a shed, respectively. They are sent to a Wyevale Garden Centre to pick up supplies, returning with their desired equipment. Hammond uses a small digger to dig a trench, to be used to create a 'river of gravel.' Clarkson earlier revealed his unique method for pulling up weeds and cutting branches off trees using a shotgun. Hammond's digger topples over in the trench, so he returns with a much larger digger to pull it out, resulting in leaving numerous Caterpillar tracks marks all over the garden. Meanwhile, James and the Poles have completed the shed. Hammond's tree seat is completed. He brings in a 14 tone crane to hook the seat so he could slip it over the tree. Despite the machine getting stuck, the crane is long enough to hook onto the seat. Because he had not got the hang of the crane, he accidentally swished it sideways, destroying both the shed and the seat. Clarkson decides to remove a rockery by using a homemade bomb. During the explosion one wall of the shed James built is smashed. After this happens May steps out of the shed with a plank of wood, and asks what time the programme will air. After being informed it was going to air after the watershed, he exclaims 'you're a fu-'. At this point, the episode cuts to the next scene. Jeremy orders some cement to pave over the garden, but he orders too little, and only a small

140: Top Gear Apocalypse
Just what will motoring be like in a post apocalyptic world that's been blown to bits by nuclear bombs or a massive comet? It's a burning question that's on literally nobody's mind, and we give you all the answers in this brand new, incredibly cheerful Top Gear DVD. Embarking on a terrifying journey into the future, we show you how to drive to work in the perpetual darkness of a Nuclear Winter, how to make motor sport exciting when there's only two racing drivers left alive, and, in a world where all cars are bristling with weapons, how to survive the savage, explosive fury of a Doomsday M.O.T test. And amongst all the nuclear carnage, we also tackle the ultimate petrolhead's dilemma - what cars would you take for a final drive if there was only one barrel of petrol left on the planet? The explosions are huge, the cars are superb, so relax and enjoy. PS. This frightening vision of a post nuclear world is backed up by top scientists, in case you think it's us just cocking about.

141: Top Gear At the Movies
Cars! Film! Cars on film! Film involving cars! You get the idea. It’s basically a DVD involving those two things. Gasp as we find the perfect drift car for a gritty, Bourne Identity-style chase! Cheer as we stage a race for all those unsung heroes of the movie industry! Whoop as we find the car that makes the perfect dramatic exhaust note to dub onto an action sequence! Make some other sort of noise we haven’t thought of yet as we re-attempt the classic Man With The Golden Gun barrel roll, having frankly made a total hash of it when we first tried it on telly! All this plus a vast fleet of sexy supercars and a man with a jet pack racing a Skoda. Top Gear At The Movies. It’s better than an actual movie. Probably. Actually, it depends on which movie we’re talking about. Truth is, you’d be better judging this on a case-by-case basis. Why not write to us with the name of a film and we’ll tell you whether this DVD is better or not. Actually, on second thoughts, don’t.

Once again, there are no car destructions. Vehicles driven include the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren MP4-12C, Nissan GT-R and some reimaginations of past classics, such as the Eagle Speedster, Jensen Interceptor R, and the German "Brutus", based on an American firetruck.
