Wilbur Pope & his new bride buy their first home together, finding a horse in the attached barn, who exhibits some unusual behaviour, making Wilbur want to keep him. Soon enough, the horse begins talking to Wilbur (and only to Wilbur). This pilot episode, which was not picked up, stars Scott McKay & Sandra Adams. The plot was essentially unchanged for the 2nd pilot attempt, although the cast (including the horse) was replaced.

Then everyone it comes in contact to takes it back and when Wilbur comes to buy it for the last time, the store owner is bout to go crazy.
